Canon Facts

• 50-foot catamaran: Longstride’s personal vessel; de facto party ship as of S10.
• Ghostcloth sails: Near-invisible at night; dramatically reduces visual detection.
• Lead-lined storage lockers: Dampens magical signatures — specifically Clarion radiation.
• Shell registration: Registered under a Tidecaller cover identity for plausible deniability.
• Current Position: Anchored directly over The Grandmother’s Scar at Isla Hela, with the Clarion crate (45 lbs raw) poised on the gunwale to be returned to the abyss.
• Helmsman & Captain: Longstride is the owner and regular helmsman; Gus took the helm during the urgent S11 extraction from the Stilt Docks.

Overview

A fast, high-performance reconnaissance and transport catamaran belonging to Longstride. Built for speed and stealth across the archipelago’s shoals and reef systems, it was moored in The Drift before serving as the party’s getaway craft following the Tar Pit auction in Session 10.

[!NOTE] Canon Note In Session 9 DM prep, this ship was temporarily drafted under the placeholder name “The Night Stalker”. During Session 10 play, Longstride established its canonical name as The Shadow Sprinter and described its catamaran build and sails, which the DM canonized on mic.

Atmosphere

• Visuals: Sleek, modern catamaran silhouette with a low profile on the water. The ghostcloth sails have a faint iridescent sheen under direct light, but blend into near-nothingness in fog or dusk. Twin hulls give her stability and a very shallow draft.
• Speed: Exceptionally swift, easily outpacing standard merchant vessels and Inquisitor Brother Lorn’s single-sail vessel across open water.

Points of Interest

The Lead-Lined Hold

Currently houses the 45 lb crate of raw Clarion salvaged from The Bleached Lady. While lead dampens the pulse, Briony had to apply a living bio-seal to help suppress the screaming harmonic resonance.

Spacious, open netting and deck structure between twin hulls, offering 360-degree combat and observation lines.
