Vae’a (The Tide Mother)

• Mythos: Believed to be the living consciousness of the archipelago itself, which the faithful call Vae’alani (The Bones of Vae’a). Legends say the Crystalline Siphon reefs and island bedrock are her calcified bones, and the Clarion Essence is her breath, purifying the waters. She is a jealous protector, favoring the native ecosystem over all else.

  • Rituals: Performed in sea-caves or on reefs at low tide. Involves rhythmic humming (“Tidesinging”) and offerings of polished glass or pearl.
  • Clergy: The “Tide-Keepers” or Traditionalists. They wear woven seagrass and pearl.
  • The Shuttering: A controversial, forbidden prayer intended to “close the eyes” of Vae’a, shrouding the islands in mist to protect them from the outside world.

Asmodeus

• Domain: War, fate, prophecy, sovereignty, death (via Morrigan’s interpretation), Lawful Evil.
• Persona: Handsome, charismatic, unmatched schemer. Well-mannered and soft-spoken.

  • The Gentleman: His preferred avatar. A handsome, well-dressed man carrying a Ruby Rod.
  • The Beast: Monstrous horned being (bull/man/ram heads, serpent tail) - rare, for direct intimidation.
