• Origin: Isla Dorada (External wealthy region).
• Purpose: A secret society or extremist faction within high society that hunts and kills Fae creatures.
• Connection: The biological family of Morrigan Alastor.
• Conflict: Morrigan has been transformed into a Drow (Fae ancestry) via her pact, making her a target of her own family’s creed.
• Methods: Wealthy, influential, utilize hired blades and social assassins. “Ruin” is as much a weapon as a blade.
• Funding: The Alastor family owns the Tropic Star Line shipping conglomerate. TSL profits are the primary funding source for Cold Iron Consortium operations.
• Embedded Observers: Cold Iron “consultants” are stationed aboard TSL Security vessels (like the Meridian Star). They don’t command—they watch, log fey sightings, and report back for later “collection.”

Merchant Leagues of Isla Dorada

• Description: Ultra-rich trading families. Ruthless competition.
• Recent Events: The murder of a rival merchant family (enemies of the Alastors) by supernatural means (Morrigan’s Pact).
